Every winter, we prepare a large shipment – long-burning candles that go to our Ukrainian friends. We collected material for them bit by bit. Until the pre-Christmas miracle happened: they found out about our work in st. Michael Kirche and transferred almost sixty kilograms of raw materials, providing the opportunity for the production of about two hundred candles. Special thanks to the musician, organist Olga Masha Malaсhovskaja for participating in a good cause.
Thus, our candles are made by the simplest of means and by the hands of the valancers.
Carefully assembled by the hands of our members, packed with thoughts and care for those to whom they will shine, with a great desire to transmit the lights of our warmth.
These candles are more than light, they are an opportunity to warm up, and to cook or reheat food. Today, when thousands of people are forced to hide in cold basements, such help is really necessary.
Loading and delivery of humanitarian aid, as well as its collection, is carried out by the volunteers of our organization.
